WILDCAT hammock suspensions are a simple, easy-to-setup, lightweight, and compact system from which to hang your hammock.
Constructed of durable, heavy-duty 2″-wide nylon webbing, the tree straps are designed to minimize harm to the tree. Wrap the strap around the tree and pass the end through the closed loop, and cinch tight. For small-diameter trees, you can wrap the strap multiple times.
Attached to the end of the webbing is a length of high-performance Amsteel rope with numerous evenly-spaced knots from which you can hook the 12kN caribiner clip to your hammock. This makes it easy and intuitive to find the perfect height/tension for your hang. Don’t let the thickness of Amsteel rope concern you – it can support 7,000 pounds!
The tree straps, rope, and caribiners included in the WILDCAT hammock suspension work as a system that is incredibly easy to setup/take-down, doesn’t stretch, packs down small, and is very lightweight. Sold as a pair, one for each end of your hammock.
